Quasonix Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract for F-22A Program Multi-Mode Telemetry Transmitters to Support Aircraft Flight Tests

West Chester, OH - Quasonix, LLC, developer of high performance aeronautical telemetry systems, announced today that the company has been awarded a fixed price contract from Edwards Air Force Base to provide multi-mode telemetry transmitters to support the Air Force’s F-22A flight test program.

The 10 Watt S-band digital telemetry transmitters chosen by Edwards Air Force Base feature all three ARTM (Advanced Range Telemetry) waveforms – legacy PCM/FM, SOQPSK, and Multi-h CPM, turbo product coded forward error correction (TPC-FEC), and unparalleled DC-to-RF conversion efficiency.

“We are extremely pleased with this opportunity to participate in the F-22A flight test program,” said Terry Hill, Quasonix President and Chief Scientist. “The program’s requirements for a compact, efficient, and highly-capable transmitter for testing the Air Force’s flagship fighter jet were aligned perfectly with our transmitter.” Quasonix overcame the incumbent supplier on the F-22A flight test program to win the award based on its product’s cutting-edge performance characteristics, rich feature set, and outstanding value.

Quasonix designs, develops, and manufactures high performance aeronautical telemetry systems and is a recognized industry leader for spectrally efficient modulations such as SOQPSK and Multi-h CPM. Quasonix’ advanced product line extends from the air to the ground and includes transmitters, receivers, and demodulators with integral bit synchronizers. Quasonix is…Reinventing Telemetry™.
